The worship/choir music was anointed, also…

God has raised Pastor Rick up in this fellowship

and has equipped him to encourage others to fall in love with Jesus

and to make “Melodies from the heart unto the Lord”.

The Lord has blessed Pastor Rick with an ability to write songs, such as;

“‘Indebted”, “‘Lord Of Everything”, “Glory, Glory To The Lamb”‘, “Rescue Me” and several others.

The songs God gives him are specific for a time and season for the ministry of the church.

Bread And Water…That’s Just What We Need!!

‘Bread and Water’ is a poignant track about a seemingly homeless man who wanders into a mission looking for food but finding a whole lot more. The Country Music Hall of Famer sat down with The Boot to tell us how his brother Bob, who passed away in 1993, inspired the song.

“‘Bread and Water’ was a song I wrote with Leslie Satcher,” Vince explains. “I threw out this line: ‘One night, he wandered into that old mission.’ The first lines of songs are the most important part of the songs. If you really want to tell a story, that first line has to capture you. I said that line and then got a big lump in my throat and almost teared up. It reminded me of my brother.

“My brother had a rough stretch of life,” continues the country legend. “He had a car wreck at age 21 and was almost killed. He was in a coma for many months and wasn’t expected to live, and he never really fully recovered. He did pretty great considering the depth of the injuries and as a result of it, he would spend some time kinda hobo-ing around and not checking in with us. We didn’t know where he was for periods of time and found out he’s been down in the mission, or working at the Salvation Army or out picking fruit somewhere. So the song is loosely based on my brother.”

The Night Before Christmas…The World Didn’t Know!

Salvation was writing a song…”

Empty manger, perfect stranger, about to be born.

Into darkness, sadness, desperate madness, creation so torn.

We were so lost on earth, no peace, no worth, no way to escape.

In fear, no faith, no hope, no grace, and no light

But that was the night before Christmas.

Warm hay, cold sweat, a mother, not yet.

Praying godspeed the dawn.

She looks to her man, holding her hand. They wonder how long.

And the shepherds, wise men come to find them, and bow to a king.

One star above shining on love, so bright, it lit up the night before Christmas.

And the world didn’t know mercy was meek and so mild.

And the world didn’t know that truth was as pure as a child.

The night before Christmas.

Jesus, Bring The Rain…Or Whatever Brings You Glory!

Be careful when you pray this prayer!!

Jesus takes it seriously!!

Job 13:15

“Though He slay me, yet will I hope in Him;

I will surely defend my ways to His face.”

We must come to the place…

Where we will serve Him no matter what!

-Even if life seems to be going against us…

(True faith rises when it’s tested in the valley!)

-Even without encouragement from others…

(Sometimes you may need to stand alone…and say,

“As for me and my house we will serve the Lord!)

-Even when we don’t understand everything He’s doing…

(Sometimes it’s when you don’t know His plan and purpose

that you build your greatest work for God!)

Do people ask how you can still praise the Lord…

With all that you’ve gone through???

Circumstances can’t possibly change…

Who you are forever in our Lord!

Since your life was changed…

Long before the rainy days…

It’s now forever settled in your mind!

I’ll never turn my back on You…

Oh, Lord!

You’re my only shelter from the storms…

I’ll draw even closer through these times!

So I pray…

“Bring me joy, bring me peace…

Bring the chance to be free…

Bring me anything that brings You glory!”

Though there will be days when this life brings me pain…

If that’s what it takes to praise You…

Jesus Bring the Rain!

I am Yours regardless of the dark clouds that may loom above…

Because You are much greater than my pain!

You made a way for me by suffering Your destiny…

So tell me…

What’s a little rain???

You’re Holy, Holy, Holy!

My Lord God Almighty!!

This prayer means you take what God gives you…

And you use it for His glory!!

It doesn’t matter what you’re going through…

But that you KNOW He’s going through it with you!!

John 4:23

“Yet a time is coming

and has now come

when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth,

for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

God is spirit,

and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

John 6:66-68

When Can God Be Trusted??? Always!!

His help is on the way!!

“So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

“Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in Him and He will do this:
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun.”

Foes are many…

Rise against you…

Hold your ground!

Don’t fear the wars or storms…

Your help is on the way!!

Our God will not delay…

He’s our refuge and strength…

Always!!!

His promise is true!

Our God will come through…

Always!!!

Trouble surrounds us…

Chaos abounds…

My soul will rest in You!!

Lift your eyes up…

Your help comes from the Lord!!

Always from You Lord…

Enjoy Your Breakfast Now…They Don’t Serve Breakfast In Hell!! Nope!

Where as, the good news is…

There’s a banquet to enjoy in Heaven!!

Isaiah 25:6-9

“On this mountain the Lord Almighty will prepare

a feast of rich food for all peoples,

a banquet of aged wine—

the best of meats and the finest of wines.

On this mountain He will destroy

the shroud that enfolds all peoples,

the sheet that covers all nations;

He will swallow up death forever.

The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears

from all faces;

He will remove His people’s disgrace

from all the earth.

The Lord has spoken.

In that day they will say,

‘Surely this is our God;    
we trusted in Him, and He saved us.

This is the Lord, we trusted in Him;   
let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.’”

Matthew 22:1-14

“Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying:

‘The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son.

He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come,

but they refused to come.

Then he sent some more servants and said,

‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner:

My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready.

Come to the wedding banquet.’

But they paid no attention and went off—one to his field, another to his business.

But when the king came in to see the guests,

he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes.

He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’

The man was speechless.

Then the king told the attendants,

‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside,

into the darkness,

where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

For many are invited, but few are chosen.’”

all the days of my life,

Revelation 19:7-9

“Let us rejoice and be glad

and give Him glory!

For the wedding of the Lamb has come,

and His bride has made herself ready.

Fine linen, bright and clean,

was given her to wear.”

(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)

Then the angel said to me,

‘Write this:

Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!’

And he added,

‘These are the true words of God.’

You’re invited to the banquet!!

Everything is ready!

No excuses!

It will not be cancelled!

There’s still room at the King’s table!

It’s your choice to come!!

Say “Yes!” to God’s Son!

Put on your wedding garment…

Go to the Heavenly banquet!

Celebrate!

Enjoy the wedding feast…

At the Supper of the Lamb!

I’m Filled With Thanksgiving…Thank You For Giving, Lord!

in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Lord, Thank You…

For Your promises…

Your awesome scenery…

For finding me…

And for giving me life…

So I can serve You!

Psalm 145:2

“Every day I will praise You

and extol Your Name for ever and ever.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“Rejoice always,

pray continually,

give thanks in all circumstances;

for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Colossians 3:17

“And whatever you do,

whether in word or deed,

do it all in the Name of the Lord Jesus,

giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

Psalm 100:4-5

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving

and His courts with praise;

give thanks to Him and praise His Name.

For the Lord is good and His love endures forever;

His faithfulness continues through all generations.”

Give thanks for who He is…

And what He’s done for us…

Jesus gave everything…

He held nothing back…

Don’t take this for granted…

Value what He’s done for you…

Respond to His extraordinary love…

With heartfelt Thanksgiving!

Don’t be stingy in your devotion…
