We do these pledges at our school every day:

To The Flag Of The United States Of America…

I pledge allegiance to the Flag    

of the United States of America,

and to the Republic for which it stands:    

one Nation under God, indivisible,

With Liberty and Justice for all.

To The Christian Flag…

I pledge allegiance to the Christian Flag

and to the Savior for whose Kingdom it stands.

One Savior, crucified, risen, and coming again

with life and liberty to all who believe.

To The Holy Bible…

I pledge allegiance to the Bible

God’s Holy Word, and

I will make it a lamp unto my feet,

and a light unto my path, I will hide its words in my heart

that I may not sin against God.

What a great way to start our school day!!

At Yankee Stadium (Go, Yankees!!)

If tomorrow all the things were gone,
I’d worked for all my life.
And I had to start again,
With just my children and my wife.

I’d thank my lucky stars,
To be livin’ here today.
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
And they can’t take that away.

And I’m proud to be an American,
Where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died,
Who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
Next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God Bless the USA.

From the lakes of Minnesota,
To the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.

From Detroit down to Houston,
And New York to L.A.
Well, there’s pride in every American heart,
And it’s time we stand and say.
