Etheree: the ME i see


Just me
Wanna be
The me I see
The quirks that are me
My shortcomings that be
The odd behaviors I see
The past mistakes that make me, me
All of these are part of who I be
I am learning to love the me I see

The 411: This is all about me learning to love myself…mistakes and all. I wanted to use a rhyming scheme with the repetition of “me, be, see.” The incorrect grammar was used on purpose to represent the “flaws” that are a part of me. Incorrect use of “be” grates on my nerves which is exactly what my flaws do to me emotionally! It was a verbal way to let others experience that…
