They can open all their own jars…
They get extra credit for the slightest act of thoughtfulness…
Three pairs of shoes are more than enough…
They are unable to see wrinkles in their clothes..
They don’t need to put on a new face every day…
The same hairstyle lasts for years, maybe decades…
They only have to shave their face and neck…
They can play with toys all their life.
One wallet and one pair of shoes! One color for all seasons…
They can ‘do’ their nails with a pocket knife…
They have freedom of choice concerning growing a mustache…
They can do Christmas shopping for 25 relatives on December 24th in 25 minutes…
No wonder men are happier!! Ha!
Nicknames:
If Laura, Kate and Sarah go out for lunch, they will call each other Laura, Kate and Sarah…
If Mike, Dave, and John go out for lunch, they will affectionately call each other Fat Boy, Bubba and Wildman…
Eating Out:
When the bill arrives, Mike, Dave and John will each throw in $20, even though it’s only for $32.50. None of them will have anything smaller, and none will actually admit they want change back…
When the girls get their bill, out come the pocket calculators…
Money:
A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs…
A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn’t need, but it’s on sale…
Bathrooms:
A man has six items in his bathroom: toothbrush and toothpaste, shaving cream, razor, a bar of soap, and a towel…
The average number of items in the typical woman’s bathroom is 337…A man would not be able to identify more than 20 of these items…
Arguments: A woman has the last word in any argument…
Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument…
Future:
A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband…
A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife…
Marriage:
A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn’t…
A man marries a woman expecting that she won’t change, but she does…

Men wake up as good-looking as they went to bed…

Ah, children. A woman knows all about her children. She knows about dentist appointments, romances, best friends, favorite foods, secret fears, hopes, and dreams…
A man is vaguely aware of some short people living in the house…
Though For The Day:

Most can’t agree:
On what a “lazy” Sunday afternoon looks like…
What “straighten up the house” entails…
How long “working on the car” takes…
Or what, “I’ll be ready in five minutes!” really means…
Just the other day…
I was listening as my husband spoke on the phone to his good friend, Dave…
“Oh, No!!! What did you do, Davie???
Your new puppy? Big mess? While you were out playing golf? And she was at church?
And the volume in your house is on ‘MUTE!!!?!’
Oh, No! Georgie can’t help you with this one, Buddy!!!
Why??? Because no matter what you say or do…you’re wrong!!!
So, just say you’re sorry and be done with it!!
I’m telling you, Friend…
It’s a grey area!! With women!”
So, by now I’m laughing, because I can’t hear Davie’s end of the conversation…
But I have an answer, nonetheless!
“Swallow you’re pride…
Say you’re sorry…
Put your ‘puppy tail’ between your legs…
And beg for forgiveness!!”
My husband conveys my message and says…
“Doesn’t matter if she said you could go…
Clean up the mess!!”
See???
Opposites!!!
Thank God they attract!
But both men and women can agree on our love for Jesus!!
And how we need His love for us!
Don’t you find that amazing???
In our household…
I’m not a morning person…He is!
I do the paperwork…He can’t!
He’s super observant…I’m not!
I’m a clean-up-as-you-go cook…He’s messy and doesn’t care!
He’s trained to handle a crisis…I melt down!
But…
It’s okay, because…
Jesus and I are opposites, too!
And Opposites Attract!!!
Yipee!!
I’m weak…He’s strong!
I’m human…He’s divine!
I’m selfish…He’s selfless!
He’s sinless!
He’s love!!
He’s Holy!
God’s the Creator!
God’s perfect!
God never changes!
God never fails!
Lord, I Can’t Get Over You!
Men and women are opposites…
And they disagree on many things…
But somehow in Jesus…
We all find what we need!
We all seem to agree!!
Men and women from all walks of life…
Every country…
People who can’t agree on politics…
Or the economy…
Or even on which of our major world problems to try solve first…
Can agree that we adore the love of our Savior for us!
It’s amazing!
We can meet someone totally different from us…
And still just know that they possess the love of Jesus…
That They Have His Heart!

I really enjoyed the Video sagescenery, the song was beautiful in it’s Truth. I had to laugh at the differences, some were spot on but I wouldn’t pigeon hole anyone, especially men, we are all unique and at different levels of maturity in Christ Jesus, yes some are still childish and disobedient, their flesh is in control and they show it.
Island Traveler, a man I blog with, would know every detail about his son, he and his wife share the responsibility together. Darren another Blogger , treats women with heartfelt respect and values their sharing, Pastor Joe has a firm grip on God’s reality but is not legalistic and he is also compassionate and caring, and Tee on Wise counsel is a deep thinker and values emotional as well as logical input and of course woman also have differences, we are not all the same.
What I think is amazing is that we are conformed into the image of Jesus, not just a likeness or a reflection of Him but the same as He was Spiritually on earth and is now, so we walk as He walks, when we are Born again (1John 3:9 ) we have God’s seed or Nature…. How good is that!

I’m finding that folks carry a lot of resentment, because we’re all different…instead of embracing…and celebrating our differences!! Jesus has many characteristics that are opposite, too… He’s the Lion of Judah…He’s the Lamb that was slain!!
So to be like Him..is to display all His characteristics… at different times…I love this! I’m pretty mellow & easy going…unless you touch my child!!! That’s what I love about God…He’s loving, but just!
If I didn’t embrace my husband’s differences…nothing would get done, that needs to get done, at our house in the mornings! Ha!
God can and does use all our personalities to further His Kingdom…if we will not rule out people who are not just like us!! Like I said, look to their heart for Jesus!

I agree sagescenery there is no need to agree but to decide what is best when it comes to new curtains in the Church or if the Music group should sing after Communion or before and even with differences in regard to what we like….who is the best footy team or what car and what holiday destination is the best etc, we can agree to disagree but not so with God’s Truth as He tells us, we are to bring our differences to Him and we are also not to judge others for their weakness and shortcomings, we all have them, we always value everyone and ourselves as people of worth, Jesus died for all of us.
There is only one Godhead or Trinity as They are called today, who we are to worship in Unity. We are in the end times and there is false Christs and teaching and we are to reject these and stand up for God’s Truth, in Love and for Love….if we are One in Christ Jesus, we will not have division.
Philippians 3:14-16 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, where to we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
The reason we have so many different Denominations, House Churches and even Cults is because people although they claimed to agree to disagree they really didn’t and so it ended in division, and God is not a God of division. If Heresy is being taught and they do not accept correction, we are told to leave but this has to be confirmed by God’s Truth as revealed by The Holy Spirit with the confirmation of the Scriptures not just by our own agenda. Division was happening in the early Church and Paul warned against it, we follow Jesus not man.
There is only one Truth and that’s God’s, The Holy Spirit does not say one thing to one person and something different to someone else if they contradict. He may teach us Truth through different ways at different times which we can share with others but of course everything must be confirmed in Scripture. If we have asked for and received God’s wisdom we will be in agreement. When we are Born again we have the Mind of Christ and He brings us all to Unity in Him so that we are in agreement…. How good is that!
There are many Scriptures that confirm this Truth I will just share a few with you….
1 Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.
1 Corinthians 1: 10 -11Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
2 Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in Peace; and the God of Love and Peace shall be with you.
1 Peter 3:7-9 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
Philippians 4:2 I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.
Philippians 2:4-6 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Philippians 2:1-3 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of Love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfill ye my joy, that ye be like-minded, having the same Love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Yes I agree again sagescenery our Faith and Love for The Lord will be shown not just by our words but by our obedience to God’s Truth and guidelines, they are all about Love because they are for our good and others well being, when we choose to reject them for whatever reason, then we don’t Love God or others in our heart , it’s just all about us and our own agenda.

Good morning. Anne!! I love reading your words of wisdom!!! Thank you so much for your heartfelt comments!! In mentoring kids. teens, and young adults on our drama team…I always make the point that it’s never about us…It’s always about Jesus!! We outreach into our community with the Full Gospel message! Lately, I’ve been sharing in our devotional times, the miracles of Jesus…so that our team will go out to minister with the mind-set of what God can do…not about what we do!! They need to know this, because they don’t always hear this reflected back to them at home! More of Jesus…less of us!! Amen! Have a Blessed day!!!
