Why do we go with the flow? Why take an easier road? Why are we playin’ it safe? Love came to show us the way… Love is a chance we should take… I’m movin’ out of the gray!

The Parable Of The Lost Sheep
“What man of you, having an hundred sheep,
if he lose one of them,
doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness,
and go after that which is lost,
until he find it?
And when he hath found it,
he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
And when he cometh home,
he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them,
‘Rejoice with me;
for I have found my sheep which was lost.’
I say unto you,
that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth,
more than over ninety and nine just persons,
which need no repentance.”

“Either what woman having ten pieces of silver,
if she lose one piece,
doth not light a candle,
and sweep the house,
and seek diligently till she find it?

there arose a mighty famine in that land;
and he began to be in want.
And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country;
and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat:
and no man gave unto him.
And when he came to himself, he said,
‘How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare,
and I perish with hunger!
I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father,
I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
And am no more worthy to be called thy son:
make me as one of thy hired servants.’
And he arose, and came to his father.
But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him,
and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
And the son said unto him,
‘Father, I have sinned against Heaven,
and in thy sight,
and am no more worthy to be called thy son.’
But the father said to his servants,
‘Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him;
and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
We celebrated all our Birthdays together for many years as children…
Running and playing with all our siblings, and our other cousins…
He loved trucks…
And his favorite sound was his “truck” sound…
“Gilly-Gilly-Gilly…Vroom!”
A happy, fun, and playful child,
Who grew up to be a Mighty Man of God…
Who loved his family, and cared for my Aunt…
Heaven welcomes you, my precious cousin…
Well done, good and faithful servant…
Rest now…
I know you’re seeing your Jesus face to face!
You’re Home!!
May our Lord bring His Peace to everyone in our family…
We will miss you!
Sometimes, all we have to hold onto… Is what we know is true of who You are… So when the heartache hits like a hurricane… That could never change who You are… And we trust in who You are!
Even if the healing doesn’t come… And life falls apart… And dreams are still undone…
You are God!
You are good!
Forever Faithful One !

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death,
neither sorrow, nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away.”

Lord, we know Your ways are not our ways… So we set our faith in who You are… Even though You reign high above us… You tenderly love us… We know Your heart… And we rest in who You are…
You’re still the Great and Mighty One !
We trust You always… You’re working all things for our good … We’ll sing Your praise!
“Then Job got up and tore his clothes in grief.
He shaved his head
and threw himself face downward on the ground.
He said, ‘I was born with nothing,
and I will die with nothing.
The Lord gave,
and now He has taken away.
May His Name be praised!’
In spite of everything that had happened,
Job did not sin by blaming God.”

You are God and we will bless You! As the Good and Faithful One! You are God and we will bless You!

We pray for blessings… We pray for peace… Comfort for our family, protection while we sleep… We pray for healing, for prosperity… We pray for Your Mighty Hand to ease our suffering… All the while, You hear each spoken need… Yet love is way too much to give us lesser things…
‘Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops… What if Your healing comes through tears… What if a thousand sleepless nights… Are what it takes to know You’re near… What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise…
We pray for wisdom… Your voice to hear… And we cry in anger when we cannot feel You near… We doubt Your goodness, we doubt Your love… As if every promise from Your Word is not enough… All the while, You hear each desperate plea… And long that we have faith to believe…
When friends betray us… When darkness seems to win… We know the pain reminds this heart… That this is not, this is not our home…
What if my greatest disappointments… Or the aching of this life… Is the revealing of a greater thirst this world can’t satisfy… And what if trials of this life… The rain, the storms, the hardest nights… Are Your mercies in disguise…
“For this world is not our home;
we are looking forward to our City in Heaven,
which is yet to come.”

And we eagerly await a Savior from there,
the Lord Jesus Christ,
