Unless It Points The World Back To You!

The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue,

 to know the word that sustains the weary.

He wakens me morning by morning,

wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.

allow wisdom to guide how you choose them.

Words can lift your heart…

To places you’ve never been! 

Words can drag you down…

Or bring you down to where you began!

Words can build you up…

Words can break you down!

Words can start a fire in your heart…

Or put it out!

Let Your words be life!  Let Your words be truth!

I don’t wanna say a word…

Unless it points the world back to You!

You can heal our  heartache…

Speak over our fear…

God

Your voice is the only thing…

We need to hear!

Let the words I say…

Be the sound of Your grace…

I wanna speak Your love…

Not just another noise!

I wanna be Your light…

I wanna be Your voice!
