Who Am I???

James 4:14

“Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow.

For what is your life?

It is even a vapour,

that appeareth for a little time,

and then vanisheth away.”

Psalm 89:9

“You rule over the surging sea;   

when its waves mount up,

You still them.”

Lord of all the earth…

Why do You care to know my name…

Care to feel my hurt?

Bright and Morning Star…

Why do You choose to light the way…

For my ever wandering heart?

Not because of who I am…

But because of what You’ve done!!

Not because of what I’ve done…

But because of who You are!!

I’m a flower quickly fading…

Here today and gone tomorrow…

A wave tossed in the ocean…

Vapor in the wind…

Still…

You hear me when I’m calling…

Lord…

You catch me when I’m falling…

You’ve told me who I am…

I’m Yours!!

Your eyes see my sin…

And look on me with love…

To watch me rise again…

Your voice calmed the sea…

And calls out through the rain…

To calm the storm in me…

You hear me when I’m calling…

I’m Yours!

Why should I fear?

When I’m Yours?

I’m Yours!!

Mark 4:39

“He got up,

rebuked the wind

and said to the waves,

‘Quiet! Be still!’

Then the wind died down

and it was completely calm.”

1 Corinthians 3:23

“…and you are of Christ,

and Christ is of God.”

We belong to God!

Romans 8:15

“The Spirit you received

does not make you slaves,

so that you live in fear again;

rather,

the Spirit you received

brought about your adoption to Sonship.

And by Him we cry,

‘Abba, Father.'”

1 Corinthians 6:19

“Do you not know

that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit,

Who is in you,

Whom you have received from God?

You are not your own;”

We’re God’s!!

We’re valuable to Him!!
